Another superb BEC Enduro Championship weekend run by the Highland Enduro club.

A full card of top British and international riders turned up for the event - which is always a tough one with long days.

A fine win with 1st and 2nd on both days for the new Triumph 250 enduro bikes developed by Paul Edmondson.

A great start to the British and Scottish Enduro Championships with some superb racing over 2 days on a tough and unremitting course.

Jim Mair and his crew provided a perfect start area and excellent facilities over the 2 days with a massive field and large Pits setup.

It takes months of negotiation with local landowners and the Forestry to put on an event - and the support of local businesses is very much appreciated.

A British round is a step up in organisation and the Highland Enduro Club works with the ACU to ensure it runs smoothly.

Thanks to all the organisers and sponsors who make our sport possible.

On the day the new kid on the block was Triumph with their new 250 Enduro bikes in the hands of Jamie McCanney and Mikel Persson - with a dream start to the season.

1st and 2nd on both days despite the best efforts of Jack and Harry Edmondson .  With Triumphs filling 5 of the top 6 positions on day 2.

The full results link is above.

Also putting in some very quick times was a large showing of Elite Women with Nieve Holmes taking 1st on both days. Nieve is no stranger to Lossienouth regularly competing in the Scottish Expert class.

There were also separate classes for Scottish riders as this was also a Scottish Championship round. Overall there were more than 200 riders at the event.

As this is a Scottishenduros report I will concentrate on the top riders in the Scottish classes.
