Scottish Enduro Championship on 26/27th July 2025 at Altyre Forest near Forres. Run by Highland Enduro Club

Saturday Results  https://my.raceresult.com/352692/live

Sunday Results - https://my.raceresult.com/352902/results

Over 80 riders each day for another run round the tight and testing Altyre Enduro course just outside Forres.

Another great effort to produce a great course run in reverse this year with the very tight and technical test in the sand quarry.

Lots of uphills and downhills as well as trails through the trees. No rest on the course with times spot on again . The riders knew they had been out for the day with over 4 hours riding.

With the course shortened by a lap on the Sunday to allow the riders to get away early.

Andrew Bisset lead the Experts home on both days with another smooth ride. Fast improving Cai Hewitt benefiting from also riding BEC rounds put in 2 great rides for 2nd each day.

Alister Barr kept the pressure up on the front runners with 3rd each day closely followed home by Jake Reid just seconds behind.

Jack Kitching finishing both days for Expert B honours.

In the Over 40's - again one of the hottest classes out there Derek Little took the win both days but with Alex Pringle only 3 seconds behind on Saturday and also 2nd on Sun. Mitchell Brown always threatening only 4 secs behind on Sunday for 3rd and 3rd again on Saturday.

Michael McNiven pushed hard for the Saturday win less than 3 secs ahead of Kris Yule in 2nd with Robert Graham just 2 secs behind for 3rd. Another competitive class. On  Sunday Jamie Douglas made the long trip from across the border worth it for the win  but Joe Drysdale  was close behind by 4 seconds for 2nd. With Robert Graham 3rd again .

The over 50 Clubman class is always fast with mature and talented riders all pushing for the win. This time it was Gavin Johnston 1st with James Harvey 2nd and Neil Dawson 3rd - both days.

In Clubman B young Maciek Dwornik pipped Dylan Scott by only 7 seconds  on Saturday with John Weir bringing up 3rd. On Sunday some riders found some extra speed with Dylan Scott taking the win ahead of Andrew Watt  with Maciek less than a second behind in 3rd. Great to see young riders pushing their speed up.

In Sportsman Sean Gunn put in a great ride for the win on both days. Wojceich Pilich 2nd on Saturday and young Holly Dennis making a long trip worth it for 3rd on Saturday .  Lewis Kennedy taking 2nd on Sunday with Callum Macdonald in 3rd

In the Vets over 50 Alan Strachan took the win both days with Mike Glass in 2nd. David Fickling 3rd on Sat and James Johnston 3rd on Sunday.

The Gentleman Racers class Vets over 60 was won by Andrew Flockhart both days with Bill Bruce 2nd on Sat and 3rd on Sunday. Phil Hewitt got out on a bike on Sunday for 2nd .

Thanks to the Highland Club and Clerk of the Course Jim Mair for another exciting weekends racing. And thank you to Altyre Estates for again letting us use their ground.

And a big thank you to all our sponsors for supporting the sport.
