Scottish Hare and Hounds Championship round 1

Highland Enduro Club - at Birkenhill on 25th May 2025

Live results - https://my.raceresult.com/342745/results

A technical course put on at short notice by HEC. An awful lot of work to add new tracks to the Birkenhill hill course. Involved many hours setting out and some big diggers.

Due to the large entry the event was split with the Sportsman entries running in the afternoon and Expers and Clubmen in the morning.

It rained just enough to keep the dust down and was sunny for the racing. Big thank you to all involved in setting up the course and making it happen.

There were some new sponsors involved who donated medals for the youth race in the morning . A big thank you to North of the Border for Youth Prizes and to Fairley Plumbing and Heating for the youth participation medals . Great to see local companies promoting youth sport

In the Youths class James Grant was 1st with Layton Ferrier 2nd and Callum Yourston in 3rd - all on 6 laps.
