Highland Enduro Club @ Tain  Championship Hare & Hounds 9th October 2022

Final H&H Championship round of the year and the riders were literally flying round the course. Another excellent event put on by the club with a new fast stubble field to unleash your inner speed demon.

Provisional Results here https://my.raceresult.com/222420/

The riders set off on a fast blast round the MX track with riders getting some aerial practice in. Good to see some young new riders getting in on the action.

The Expert Class was won by Andrew Bisset one lap clear of the field with Greg Gallagher in 2nd.

Gavin Johnston took the over 40 class with James Harvey keeping him honest all the way both finishing on 14 laps. Kenny Thomson pushed all day to take 3rd

In Clubman Callum Davidson continued his winning ways with the win . Jake Reid in 2nd with Calum Hill taking 3rd

There was a full field for Clubman B with David MacGillivray leading the way home just ahead of Grzegorz Nowak also on 13 laps with David Wilkes in 3rd

The Over 50 class was won by Neil Dawson - Trials expert  with Gary Reid in 2nd and evergreen Peter Nixon in 3rd.

The Sportsman Vets was won by Robert Gardiner ahead of Zee Duck Alasdair Anderson with Alan Strachan finishing the podium.

Sportsman is always a competitive class for newcomers with Rhys Whyment leading some established riders home for the win with 13 laps. Alex Pringle pushed hard all day and stayed on 13 laps as well and young Robbie Davidson finishing 3rd on 13th laps. Only 2 other riders in the class stayed on 13th laps - Felix Beavitt and Cai Hewitt

Sandra Swanson swapped the camera for a solid ride round Tain to finish the day and take the Ladies Class

A great end to a full season of Enduros and Hare and Hounds - many thanks to all the clubs and helpers who put in such a great effort all year.
