SACU 2000 ENDURO CHAMPIONSHIP
Round 2 Caberston Innerleithen Melville MCC 7th May .
A week of dry weather ensured a superb ride for all classes of riders in the first
Scottish enduro of the new Millenium. Technically a very demanding event it had several
very long steep downlhills and a couple of boggy sections which cut up. With marshalls
cutting out stoppers and redirecting riders the event was a very enjoyable if testing
course.
A lot of new faces were seen with several riders making the trip up from the North of
England. The special test was a new one from the previous years and was very fast and
flowing after a downhill start and ride through a dark wooded section. As usual it even
had a small bog in the middle of the test just to make things interesting.
