The Elgin Team members have also been practicing hard this year in the Expert class - and are looking forward to the event . Best of luck to all our Scottish riders - including new Enduro rider Trials Expert Stuart Mack riding for the ARMY.

Fraser Flockhart moves to Team GB Trophy Team to replace Josh Gotts - retiring through injury. A great achievement for Fraser to finally get a place in Team GB. He has 2 previous years at the ISDE with Team Scotland and helped put Scotland to their highest placing ever 4th and best UK Team.

He has the experience and ability to perform at the highest level on the world stage - we congratulate him and wish him and the team a great event.

And another Scot has earned a place in Team GB Trophy team - Army rider Kev Murray - an ISDE regular and supporter of Team Scotland. He replaces Brad Freeman. “After competing in the first of my 12 ISDEs in 1999 this will be my third time riding for Team GB. Having placed fourth in C2 last year I was already looking forward to improving on that result, but this news from Team Manager Dusty Martin has blown me away!

Final result for Team Scotland for the week. 15th in the club team competition out of 167 teams . Unfortunately there was a death of a British rider from the Sheepskulls team on day one - Michael Alty. A very well respected and popular rider he will be sadly missed by the Enduro community. Our sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Due to no fault of his own Euan McConnel was delayed on 2 days but put in some great performances for the rest of the week. Ben Thomson put in a storming ride at his first ISDE . Frazer Norrie as always pushed hard and was very rapid.

The Elgin Bus Boys had a good ride but lost Alan Davidson who was retired by the organisers on day 2 for safety reasons . The event was extremely hot and the organisers were looking after riders safety - better safe than sorry but a real shame for Alan as he was doing well on day 2.

Top British club team was the Welsh in 2nd - a fantastic result for them.

Team GB with Fraser Flockahrt and Kevin Murray alongside Nathan Watson and Lee Sealey came home in 5th - another great result ahead of some big teams. The winners were home team France ahead of Australia

The GB Junior Trophy team came home just off the podium in 4th - another top performance.

There are lots of photos on Facebook on the Scottish Enduro Riders group. Here a few from Owen Gourlay. Ben Thomson, Frazer Norrie and Andrew Bisset and Fraser Flockhart for Team GB.

Well done to all the riders and support crew for a big effort. You keep the flag flying for Scotland
